(February 25, 2019) It’s that time again, time for Rock Maple Racing XC to bring it’s cross country snowmobile racing series through upstate New York! High Voltage Hills will be the place to be on Saturday March 2nd. The RMR XC crew is teaming up with High Voltage Hills folks to bring yet another high velocity sled event that is not worth missing. Social media is buzzing with anticipation, riders ready to showcase their speed, sleds are raring to rip through the snow, even mother nature is preparing for this weekend providing some proper snowfall for the track. All that’s left is for you to bring the competition to the table, think you are fast enough for the challenge?
High Voltage Hills MX, located at 7158 Middle Rd in beautiful Grieg New York, is a multiyear award winning sporting venue, owned and operated by the dedicated Zielinski family. The cross country track will be in the surrounding woods of their normal MX track. The track is set to be approximately 4-5 miles per lap and each race 20-25 miles long. Parking will be available at the venues “pit” which is a 15 acre field. Onsite registration will open up on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., along with the pre-tech and racer check in. Last minute racer registration will be available onsite Saturday starting at 6:30 a.m. but will be closing at 8 a.m. sharp! Pre-registration for this weekend’s race is available at
rockmapleracing.com, so save yourself the time and hassle on the day of race and pre register your sleds and riders! Gates will be opening for spectators Saturday at 8 a.m., with races set to start at 9 a.m! Admission is $10 per person, kids under 7 are free. There are a wide variety of classes ranging from snowbikes, women’s, stock, pro, semi-pro, and even kids classes. Thanks to our continued sponsor Philbrick Motorsports, there will be access to 120 rentals on site for your little speed demons to try their hand in the racing fun. Award ceremony will be held Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Pine Tree Inn, located at 7796 Brantingham Rd, Brantingham, NY, where snowmobiles are welcome and the food and atmosphere are nothing short of amazing.
